This poem was written in response to this challenge. This poetic form is called a “tilus,” which is a nature-themed poem of three lines, and only ten syllables. The goal is to express emotion and truth conveyed through nature with as few words as possible. It took me a few minutes, but this was my attempt!
A little eaglet jumps— Plummets down—
Soars.
